This is a used, 2006, Coats Saddlery saddle made in San Angelo, Texas. It is a tall cutter with a 16 inch hardseat with slots in the seat. It is full roughout with rope border tooling. The roughout has been worn smooth in places due to use. This saddle has square skirts and a cowboy style cantle. It has a heavy duty rigging, real wool that is dirty in several places, a back rigging, and a front girth. The horn and tree are tight. The stirrups pictured do not come with the saddle. The owner wanted to keep them, so it will have a pair of 2 inch aluminum, flat bottoms instead. T is a slight tear in the bottom of the left fender w the stirrup hobble buckles. This will not affect the use of the saddle. I rode the saddle this weekend and it fit all four of our horses. Two of the horses are more thorobred type Quarter horses and the other two are short and stout. The saddle fit each one perfectly. Not only is this saddle comfortable, but it has a very deep, secure pocket in it. It may seem pricey, but a new Coats is $3800. SHIPPING charges will be higher for West Coast buyers.
