ABOUT THIS AUCTION: For sale is a cyanotype of railroad workers in front of the railroad commissary in Norton West Virginia, circa 1890's. Annotated on the reverse. It was taken by a railroad engineer named Willis Vail in the 1890's. Vail was an engineer and documentary photographer working for the railroad as it was being built in West Virginia in the 1890's. CONDITION: some traces of light foxing. Does not affect image much. SIZE: 9 by 5 inches, including margins. WE DO NOT SELL COPIES OF PHOTOGRAPHS.
