Description: Stricking and hightly detailed copper engraved chart of the historic Moravia region of the Czech Republic centered roughly on the city of Olmutz (Olmitz). The map is filled with a lot of topographical details as well as mountains, forests, rivers, roads, cities, fortifications, and villages. A huge pictorial cartouche takes in nearly a quarter of the sheet and features the double headed eagle of the Russian Empire, two soldiers, a scene of cavalry and a landscape.
