Old Daughters of American Revolution Texas Medals Photos This is a grouping of Daughters of American Revolution, Daughters of the Republic of Texas & National Society United States Daughters of 1812 medals & pins. Also included are photos & a book belonging to the owners of the pins.. Everything belonged to the Seward, Wallace & Neal families of Houston, Texas. T was a hand written note with these items indicating these Texas families were descendants of the "Moomaw's of Bath County, Va. After studying these items I believe the following information to be close to correct. Pins belonged to 2 sisters from Houston,Texas: Marian R. Seward (married name Holt) (estimated birth 1833-34) and Anna Elizabeth Seward (Married name Mrs. J. W. Wallace) (b.1836-d.1891) Photo of sisters, Marian R. Seward, approx 5 years old , and Anna Elizabeth Seward, probably 3 years old. Photo in swing Anna E. Seward (Mrs. J. W. Wallace) 1836-1891. Sister of Marian Seward Holt. Photo of two women and a baby at Christmas was taken at 1709 Clay Avenue, Houston, Texas. Because of the clothing and the electric lamp in the background, this is probably in the early part of the 1900’s. These are obviously descendents of above Marian R. Seward, since the name Marian is used again 2 times. According to the writing on the back, the women are: “My Mother Laura Roberts
