This porcelain shaving mug is from the era when barber shop customers proudly displayed their mugs in shaving mug racks located in their favorite shop. (1880's - 1920's). This large decorated shaving mug bears the name C. A. Fife in black lettering that is shadowed with gold. It has a very attractive purple flower decoration that covers over half the mug. T the is normal gold wear found on the rim. T is no maker's mark. This mug measures approximately 4"h x 4 3/4"w (including the handle). T are no cracks but t is a minor flake in the rim and no other chips. The winning bidder on this mug will also receive the very similar Clineschmidt mug at no charge for the mug and no additional shipping charge. This is because t is a significant crack in this mug although the mug is intact and displays very nicely. It also has the maker's mark of Deckelman Bros. of San Francisco. This is also a large mug and measures the same as the Fife mug. I will combine shipping for multiple shipping.
