DEHNER TANK BOOTS US ARMY ARMORED CAVALRY BLACK LEATHER

This auction is for a pair of Armored Cavalry Military boots made by The DEHNER Company, Inc., Omaha, Nebraska. This pair of Boots were worn by a US Army Colonel in the armored division during the Vietnam War era. The auction includes a pair of SPURS that were used with the boots. They are marked "HS NEVERRUST" Dehner's call this boot the Dehner Tank Boot (Strap). The boot style was designed by Dehner's own H.E. Ketzler and General George S. Patton Jr. in 1937. The boots are marked inside each boot "DEHNER'S OMAHA, NEBR." The right boot has the number 67964 & 66964 inside the top of boot and the Left boot has 66964 on both sides of the top of the boot. The boots are made of black leather and are in excellent used condition. They are 14 inches tall. and are approximate size 11 to 12. I wear size 11 and they are a little loose on my foot. From the heel to the end of the front sole is 12 5/8". The soles are Nitrene which are non marking, oil resistant, and long wearing. These boots were not abused and the soles show very little wear.
