This auction is for a very nice large steam whistle bell and bottom plate ONLY. It is a 3 chime whistle bell which I believe is to a Lunkenheimer. The bell is large, and measures approx. 6" in diameter and measures approx. 16 1/2" tall from the top of the acorn to the bottom of the threads. This whistle when I got it, had been snapped off flush with the bottom of the threads, but it did not damage anything here. I managed to get the threaded part of what was left of the valve out, and the threads are excellent as well, and the bell itself doesn't have a ding to it. If you had the bottom of this whistle, or have a whistle with a beat up or bullet holed bell, this would make you a super super nice large whistle. The threaded part on the bottom measures approx. 1" across. Again, the parts that you see are nearly perfect. Super nice bell. Please see pictures.
