DICK TRACY "COMICOOKY BAKING SET" - COMPLETE - PILLSBURY- 1937- EXCELLENT TO MINT IN ORIGINAL BOX

This s a vintage, boxed set of of six (6) Dick Tracy character paper press-out cards, along with an aluminum cookie-cutter for decorating cookies or cakes. It was made by the Pillsbury Flour Mills Co. in about 1937. It is complete and in excellent to near mint condition.

The box measures 5 x 7-1/4 by 1-in thick. It reads "Pillsbury's Comicooky Baking Set" and pictures a cookie decorated using Dick Tracy press-outs with a hand holding the cookie-cutter. Below it reads "These Dick Tracy Characters are Included in this Set" followed by Chester Gould drawings of Tracy, Tess Trueheart, Pat Patton, Mary Steele [Junior's mother], Chief Brandon, Junior, Scottie, and Toby Townley. A boxed area reads "Dick Tracy Set-This Set Contains: Special Metal Comicooky Cutter; Brightly colored press-out pictures of Dick Tracy and his funny-paper friends; Special press-out pieces to make Comicooky placecards, etc; Six Comic-character cake decorations; Recipes and instructions. The box sides have comic strips of a mom decorating a cake with the press-outs. The back has recipes for sugar cookies and a two-egg cake.
