Fantasia 50th Anniversary Commemorative Program". This program was issued by Disney in 1990 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary (1940-1990) of the premiere of Disney's all time classic animated film "Fantasia". The program was sold to theater patrons where the film was being shown. The film Fantasia was divided into eight stories. The program covers each story and tells what went into the creation of the story, the music, and the animation. Each story also includes animation still photographs. There are also numerous b&w photos of Walt Disney with his production staff. This program is one of only a very limited number that is signed by Disney Legendary Animator and Imagineer Xavier "X" Attencio. He worked as an animator on Fantasia assigned to work the "Rite of Spring" segment of the film. The program measures 13 1/2" x 11 1/4". An added feature of the program is a very large colorful photo of Sorcerer Mickey with the brooms. The print is a lot more colorful than is shown in auction photo. X. Attencio began his career with Disney in 1938 working as an in-betweener on Pinocchio and then as an animator on the 1940 Feature Animated Film "Fantasia".
