I am very proud to present to you for your discriminating consideration this beautiful head of the ultra rare and precious "H" doll by Halipeau, ca 1880 (French) and replicated by the internationally recognized porcelain doll artist known as Margaret Wolfe-Wilson, or known to many of you as simply Margaret-Anne. I am the artist. This beautiful doll has a 9/10" head circumference, is wearing a wispy but softly curled red mohair wig that nicely matches her auburn eyebrows. She has been fitted with fine quality glass paperweight eyes in a charcoal color. This head will come to you with a screwgle inserted in the head and a small hook will fall down through the neck opening making it possible for you to place her on the proper Composition French body without having to remove the wig. So she will be ready to attach to the body without any problems. She would look perfectly proportioned on a 14" articulated French compo body. The completed doll will be approximately 17" tall. I paint my dolls with the best possible pictures that I can find of their closeup faces so that I have the best possibility of replicating her features. The mold is a Seeley mold marked 3H on the back, and as you can see in one of the pictures, my signature and date are incised in the back of her head. Seeley's markings are also seen on the back of her head. Thank
