Doorbell Antique Brass Bell Taylor`s 1800`s Patent Cast Iron Base Works

A 135+ year old antique Taylors door bell in lightly polished, cleaned and oiled working condition. Requires a 1/4 in. square, thru the door, drive rotary crank handle that is not available with this item. When operated manually (tip of flat screw driver) the bell rings. Has a clear resonating ring sound. Would make a nice addition to a century home restoration.
The base of the bell measures 4 3/4 in. wide flange to flange. The mounting screw holes are on 4 1/4 in centers. The brass bell dome is 3 3/4 in. in diameter and 1 3/4 in. tall. Overall, the bell is 2 1/4 in. in total height. As pictured, it weighs 15 ounces. The bell has been fully cleaned and lubricated for many years of service. A great old surviving door bell.
