Beautiful antique, Victorian era glassware - this water goblet is in the pattern called Hummingbird and also known as Thunberbird, Hummingbird and Fern, Flying Robin and Bird and Fern. The original manufacturers name is No. 67. It was made by Beaver Falls Glass Company in 1888 the goblet features three birds, fern fronds and the beautiful "star anise" looking flower
this scan is from the original catalog from 1888 showing the pieces of Humming Bird glassware - you can see the water pitcher, goblets and oh so pretty water tray that I have on auction. the goblet measures 5 3/4" tall and holds 1 1/4" cup (10oz) of fluid when filled to the brim Beautiful clarity of glass -- crisp pattern details. this is a sparkling beauty!! No chips, cracks, nicks or dings...not even any rim or edge ruffness, I will say........................ MUSEUM QUALITY CONDITION!!
