EXQUISITE OLD DIAMOND POINT PATTERN CAKE STAND
GORGEOUS and SO HARD TO FIND, old early American pressed pattern glass pedestal cakestand, cakeplate, cake plate, salver, pastry display. The pattern is DIAMOND POINT . LARGE SIZE: 10-1/4" O.D. (diameter measured from outside edges of the platter rim), 9-1/2" I.D. (diameter measured inside the plate rim, the cake seating area) x a VERY LOFTY 7-1/4" TALL. She stands nice and steady and level on a very wide 5-3/4" diameter foot. She is a heavy piece of old glass, weighing in at nearly 4 lb before packing! The glass is bright and clear and the pattern is very detailed and very deeply pressed. A lovely old cake server.
