Nice Early 1960's Vietnam Era BUCK No Model #, Pre-119 W/Orig LEATHER SHEATH

This is a very early BUCK FIXED BLADE KNIFE that has the name "BUCK" only stamped on the ricasso. This "BUCK" ONLY type of blade stamping was used from "1961 thru 1967" only. I believe this knife design was later designated the "BUCK MODEL 119". This knife comes with the "BLACK LEATHER FLAP SHEATH" that is NOT NUMBERED either. This BUCK KNIFE is in very good used condition. The aluminum pommel, black fiber or plastic handle and the aluminum crossguard are very nice and not all dinged and scratched up. The blade is very nice overall, but it has been sharpened in the past and it still has a very sharp edge on it. There are some fine scratches on the blade, but no real damage. This knife has been very well taken care of for the past 50 years. The leather sheath is still nice. The silver colore "BUCK" marked snap closure shows some scratches, it works fine and snaps closed perfectly. The name " BUCK" is clearly stamped on the middle are of the closure flap. The front side body of this sheath shows some light scratches and scuffing along the bottom part and the lower top rolled area, not bad, but visible. The leather flap and the back side of the sheath a still very nice and not damaged or scratched up. This is a very nice early 1960's lightly used and well taken care of "unnumbered" BUCK FIXED BLADE KNIFE with the "unnumbered" ORIGINAL ... read more
