Offered for auction is this great Pennsylvania German Chimney Cupboard. Piece was acquired from a Bird In Hand, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Amish estate.

This great old pine cupboard was popular in the 1800's usually found on the second floor in the narrow space between the chimney and the wall.

Has great paint with the color being forest green. Wood on piece is still strong and solid. Has 3 shelves inside plus the bottom.

Doors are blind paneled opening and closing well. Hinges are in good shape and appear to be original. Legs are still strong on piece as cupboard sits well.

Piece is slightly over 6 feet tall. It is 12 inches deep and 21 inches wide. We have taken allot of pictures so you can view this piece closely. You will not be disappointed with this one.

Outside of normal wear and tear from age it is in good shape. Does not appear to have been exposed to moisture over the years. Back has original wood and appears to be mostly untouched since piece was made.

Consignee will deliver piece within a 50 mile radius of Downington, PA for a slight fee. Nationwide shipping and handling must be arranged by buyer. We prefer however to have this be a local pickup or delivery.
