*RARE EARLY PRE-DOULTON* STIFF & SONS(LAMBETH) EARLY 19thC STONEWARE BOTTLE

*VERY RARE* STIFF & SONS of LAMBETH
We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare find that has been in our personal collection for many years.
As a once avid collector of early stoneware this is a real *GEM* of a find. Originating from Lambeth Stiff and Sons started business in the early 18th Century making medicine/chemical bottles before being taken over by Royal Doulton in the mid 1800s.
This fine hand thrown medicine bottle, we believe was made to contain medicine but can not be absolutely positive, stands 6 inches(150mm) in height and has no chips or serious damage apart from one glaze hairline crack running from the impressed mark for around 2.5 inches up towards the neck area.
This is a really exciting opportunity for any fellow early stoneware collectors with a reasonable starting price to allow the true collectors of such items a chance to obtain a really good piece of English stoneware history.
We wish you good luck and
