EKKO radio reception stamp, KFNF, Shenandoah, Iowa KFNF was founded by Henry Field to promote his seed business in 1924. The station became widely known for its live broadcasts of "hillbilly" music. The KFNF call remains on an FM outlet located across the border in Oberlin, Nebraska.
