Two rare letters to Eleanor and Franklin Delano Roosevelt's son, James. The first is a handwritten note on 8, Bishopsgate, London, E. C. 2., stationery. It's dated 4 October 1933 and contains the contents, ''If you want to study the somewhat painful subject more deeply, there are more elaborate works to be had.'' The letter is written in ink and measures 5'' x 8''. The second letter is typed, two pages, dated 1 September 1933 and written on Herrick, Smith, Donald and Farley stationery.
