This is a stunning etching, numbered #4/150, still in the original shipping tube from Trevor Southey Gallery, signed by the artist. It has never been framed/displayed and is in perfect original condition.I personally purchased this directly from the gallery about 10 years ago. It measures 16"x24". The first image is a stock picture, the others are actual ones I took to try to show some of the detail in this stunning piece. This etching lists for $700 or more elsewhere. It is guaranteed to be a source of comment and conversation! Artist Trevor Southey’s media includes drawing, printmaking, painting, stained glass, and sculpture. Born in Rhodesia, Africa (now Zimbabwe) in 1940, Southey’s African heritage can be traced to European colonists who settled in Cape Town, South Africa in the 17th century. In 1965, he emigrated to the United States. Southey holds two degrees from Brigham Young University. He also trained at Brighton College of Art in Sussex, England, and took courses in Durban, South Africa. A teacher at BYU until 1977, Southey currently leads art workshops.
