Estate Solid 14K Gold & Topaz Ring Scrap wt. 13.6 gram

This solid 14K gold & Topaz ring is from the living estate of a very passionate collector of fine Native American and other outstanding jewelry. She had no hesitation for making the big and larger-than-life statement with her jewelry, and collected using both knowledge and a good eye for quality design. 's a bold 14K gold & topaz ring that was likely custom hand crafted for this lady by a studio jeweler or goldsmith. I must confess I'm not 100% sure the stone is topaz (and can't "guarantee" it), but I feel it's very likely so. Nice organic natural openwork textured band and setting. Ring size is 8, and the emerald cut topaz measures 18mm x 14mm with a depth of what looks to be 9mm. Etched "14K" with the artist's initials or makers mark of "M" or "JM". Condition is vintage very good with some very light scratches to the face of the stone and a stress crack to the surface of one gold setting prong (see the lower right prong in photo #1) - you may wish to get that reinforced by a jeweler although it's holding up just fine right now & the stone is still tightly set. The back of the gold band is a bit thin,
