This WELL KNOWN and extremely popular mold, the Ideal Stock Horse molded in plastic by the Peter Stone model horse company, was originally sculpted by artist Carol Williams. It is THE ideal conformational model horse standard for the stock horse breeds. The mare measures about 12" long, by 8-1/2" tall. She is in the original as-molded pose or format, without any resculpture work to mane or tail, the short mane, hock length tail version, and some seam smoothing has been done as well as the logo inside the hind leg filled in. This one does NOT have a vent hole in the nostril or mouth. Her ears and heels have been ground out or hollowed out, but not the soles of the feet or 'frogs'. This ISH has been etched and repainted as a lilac roan, varnish roan Appaloosa, some may refer to it as red roan, but the base coat color is dark sooty chestnut, or liver chestnut, with some red AND sooty tones in the coat.
