Near Mint: Looks nearly new, possibly slight wear noticeable only on close inspection.

Excellent: Clean, bright appearance, minimal visible wear. Looks as though the original owner tried to take care of the item, above average.

Very Good: A used but not abused item. Shows more use but no serious defects and still nice for display. Metal items may have luster or paint wear. Paper items may have some small tears or creases. Nothing broken.

Good: Obvious overall wear and/or some specific defect but still with some collectible value. Possibly a small broken part.

Fair: More worn, possibly damaged

Poor: Very worn, possibly incomplete.
