If you're following my auctions, you know I currently have several lamps for sale. I've told the sad tale -- moving this summer -- must (tho hate to) divest -- obsession with lamps (clearly all styles!) -- some have to go! OK, that's over with -- but I've collected these over 30+ years -- so you become (a bit) too 'familiar' with them. This one is nothing but FABULOUS, particularly if you're looking for good art/design, sleek styling, quality artistry, incredible glazes, etc., etc. This is a LARGE lamp , with the shade it measures 45" high , w/out shade it measures 38 1/2" (inc. base, harp and finial), and the pottery piece itself stands 19" high . I purchased this in a vintage/antique shop many years ago, and it came with this shade, which I think is perfect. It has the woven, nubby texture, and is in great condition (no stains, rips, etc.). I've given you plenty of photos of the fantastic glazes that really make the piece . Note the close-up of the rough experimental glaze applied at various places around the base of the pottery -- a great look. The electric/hardware is all mint -- the plug has the old standard prongs, but these work just fine in any outlet. T is plenty of brown cord -- still pliable with no breaks. The socket and switch work just fine. T is no damage to the pottery -- no cracks, chips, hairlines, crazing, repairs,
