Fabulous Vintage Carved Shell Cameo Brooch which can be worn as a pendant This has been tucked away in a box for many years - was my Mother's and am guessing it is from the late 1970's or earlier I do not see any indications of what the metal is . . . could be gold filled but it is gold toned metal This piece is designed with an interesting raised edge along the top which accommodates the beautiful curvature of this carved shell Measures approx. 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" overall Extremely detailed face, hair and accents Beautifully translucent . . . please see picture . . .
