LOVELY ENAMEL SIX SIDED HEXAGONAL FACETED GLASS VASE circa 1890The condition is good with no cracks, does show signs of use, has a few small chips on the sharp edges of the facets (more felt than seen, see photos 7&8), also about 50% of the gold is worn off. The cut glass stands about 6" tall and is about 2" at its widest point, weighs .452 kg unboxed. A great old piece! Features an expertly enemaled grape vine motif. The glass is blown and cut with a ground and polished pontil. Not signed, but there is an example of this vase in the book "Moser-Artistry in Glass 1857-1938" plate # 125 where it is stated that the glass was probably produced in the Meierhofen Glass Foctory which was bought by Moser in 1893. Would make a great addition to your collection! Shipping costs are for U.S. buyers only, if you are in Canada or any other country please contact me with your address for shipping rates.
