A rare and interesting item, a souvenir photograph from one of Chicago's most famous of night clubs. This was the Brown Derby Club of Chicago, IL. This photo was taken in 1945, possibly December. The picture was taken just after the end of World War 2, but this night club was a hugely popular gathering spot for service men of the military, actors, politicians, and well known community figures. The entire piece measures 8 3/8" x 6 1/2" and opens up to 16 3/4" x 6 1/2". It is in good condition, but does have some edge wear, rounding of the corners, and some soiling/discolorations. The photo, which is removeable, is in good condition and measures 7" x 5", but has some discoloration spots on it. It is possible that they are part of the photo, but we are unsure. Also, the photo is being show above the main piece, so you can still view what is on the front. Enjoy! Just one of the many different collectibles that can also be found in our eBay store, so check it out!!
