we have a wonderful old cast iron flop griddle in excellent condition. This griddle was manufacture under Shofieldâe(tm)s patent by F. M. Van Etten of Chicago , Ill and is marked such in crisp clear lettering. These are great for making small pancakes when they are eating them as fast as they cook. With the griddle sitting on top of the old wood stove and all heated up just start with batter in the round section and when this side is browned to your satisfaction just FLOP to continue cooking the other side.
