Fantastic Rare Pink Fancy Sapphires Helena Montana

You are bidding on a 3.1 carats of rare Pink Fancy Sapphires from the Missouri River, El Dorado Bar, near Helena, Montana.

Fancy sapphires are defined as any color of sapphire other than blue or red. This parcel of 5 pink stones, have been tumble polished with diamond.

These crystals could be mounted in jewelry as they are or could be faceted into beautiful jewels of about 20 to 40 percent of their original weight.

They are natural and have not been heat treated. Colors other than light blue to light green are relatively rare in the Montana gravels. Only about one in 100 stones occur in fancy colors. The rarest and most expensive of the fancy colors is the orange sapphire known as padparadschah and are ocassionally found in Montana stones.

Fancy sapphires are rare and difficult to obtain and will make a worthy addition to your collection.

They measure 5 mm give or take a half mm and weigh .62 gram or 3.1 carats.
