Unique Faux Ivory (?) & Macramé Necklace with Jade Green Beads I am not a jewelry expert, so I do not know if these are actually jade and ivory or not - I can only describe the piece as best I can Necklace is made up of stations of what appear to be rose carved ivory beads, and bright green jade-like beads, strung on a sort of greenish blue macramé. The green beads have a sort of soft feel to them, so I doublt they are stone(jade). The pendant measures approx 2" x 1 ½". It is comprised of a winding, climbing vine or tree, blooming flowers and buds and a bird. The pattern is on both sides of the pendant, which makes me think it may be faux ivory, rather than a real ivory carving. 21"long drop from top knot to bottom of pendant. Every effort is made to accurately describe the items I am selling. If you receive an item, and feel that my description was inaccurate, please contact me and I will happily do what I can. Please know that the items I am selling are from my mother and father; collectors of antiques and manufacturers of replacement furniture hardware for antiques, and from my grandmother, a long time and well known antique dealer from Berlin CT until the 1960's. The items are antique, vintage pieces and are generally not going to be in pristine condition. They have, however, been well cared for while in our possession.
