Nice pair of antique andirons, cannonball design, the brass parts are staked to the ironwork as shown in photo 7, unusual in that the iron part is wrought and curves up at the end, it is normal to see the iromwork as cast and bending down, this gives the irons a raked appearance as they slope backwards a few degress toward the fire, very presentable condition, wonderful patin on the brass and the iron, i have not cleaned these so you can choose how they look. These are 14" tall x 10" wide x 20" long, the cannonball measures just over 3" diameter, the secondary stop appears to be truncated or broken off below the iron (see photo 6) this is the same on both pieces, not really noticeable in normal display or use, but needs to be mentioned.
