Fenton BLACK ROSE Crest Hobnail Basket ~ FRANK FENTON!

Up for auction is this Rare Fenton Black Rose Hobnail Basket from the Fenton Museum Collection, in its original shipping box, with all of the original paperwork (FAGCA pamphlet dated 1976, 1977), with the original sticker plus it is signed by Frank Fenton! It even has the tag on the handle to let you know which glassmaker actually produced it! (From this tag, I believe that it was Robert F. Oliver Sr. âe" it is hard to tell, and his mark is the closest to the picture). This piece is so beautiful, the colors so vivid and breathtaking and it is perfect in every way with no chips, cracks, fleabites, scratches or repairs of any kind with all of the knobs in great shape. It appears to have never been used before. It measures approximately 8 1/2 inches tall (including the handle), the bowl is 6 inches by 5 1/2 inches, with the base 2 1/4 inches in diameter. This is truly an outstanding piece of Fenton!!! It would make a breathtaking Christmas gift or an outstanding gift for the Fenton Collector to an awesome gift for those of us who love beautiful things and this IS one beautiful piece of Fenton!
