Up for auction I have a Fabulous piece of glassware made by the World Famous Fenton Art Glass Company of Williamstown West Virginia. This vase was made in the early 1940's as a special order for the Weil Ceramics & Glass Co. The color and glass type is called Blue Overlay. Blue Overlay is an overlayed or cased type of glass, meaning that it is actually one layer of glass covered with another layer of a different color. In this particular case the interior color is opal and the exterior is a light blue (the same color used to make Fenton's Blue Opalescent pieces) It has a very nice double hexagonal crimp at the top. The vase is from bottom to top 6 1/2 inches tall, and 5 1/4 inches across at the widest point. This piece won't be found in any of the Factory catalogs, and was not part of the Fenton regular line. It doesn't have a Fenton logo on it, but it shouldn't due to when it was made, but I do guarantee that this is a GENUINE piece of Fenton Art Glass. (PLEASE SEE RETURN POLICY BELOW) With Fenton announcing it will be closing it's doors shortly, collectors are going to soon find out that it'll be harder and harder as time goes on to find the type of pieces I'm selling. This piece was formerly on display at the Columbus Museum of Fenton Art Glass. I have done alot of Fenton research myself and make sure that each piece I sell is
