ONLY $39.00 FOR A PIECE OF ROCK & ROLL HISTORYThe Fillmore East was the quintessential New York folk and rock palace in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Located on Second Avenue at East 6th Street, every major band played this stage to devoted folk and rock fans.On January 22 nd and 23 rd , 1971, over 45 years ago , DAVE MASON, CASS ELLIOTT, ODETTA and LIVINGSTON TAYLOR all appeared at the Fillmore East on the same evening, putting together one unforgettable sold out show. The following Monday night, January 25 th , JAMES TAYLOR took over the stage, with VICTORIA as his opening act. The seller was fortunate enough to attend the late show on Monday night, where Sweet Baby James brought down the house. This original playbill, personally pocketed by the Seller at that show, is still in excellent condition cover to cover; not single page edge bent, not a single page soiled , although there is only the slightest evidence of a long ago "north to south" fold. This piece is truly a collector's item. Add this to your folk-rock memorabilia collection for only $39.00. The Seller will provide Free Shipping via the US Postal Service, First Class Mail.
