UP for auction is this fine piece of barber shop nostalgia. A rare 1940'S lightweight cardboard advertising display sign for FITCH SHAVING CREAM. "Switch to Fitch" This sign is approx. 21"X11" some corner bumps . Small pen mark on the mans forehead. A great investment. Item as pictured. feel free to email me for more information or more pics. Bottom right corner corner is printed "printed in U.S.A. 8145 . would look great framed. this is one sign of five I have offered for auction. check out my other items for sale. this auction is for one sign as pictured. These were aquired as a set from a private collector. Rare find. Good luck finding another. Nice barber Shop and vinatge NBC memorabilia. Modest Reserve. The man is the sign is Dick powell from the NBC show the Fitch bandwagon on during 1944 to 1946. Dick Powell was no stranger to radio. Originally, a song-and-dance man, he appeared in many movies prior to being cast as Richard Rogue. And this was not his first time on radio. In the late 1930s he hosted Your Hollywood Parade, a variety show featuring the stars at Warner Brothers. Dick Powell as Richard Rogue was a summer replacement for the Fitch Band- wagon for two years. Sandwiched in between these two was a full season of the show. The Fitch Bandwagon (a.k.a.
