# 10692 (personal collection) ...Minerals Species: TURNEAUREITE Location of Mineral Deposit : FRANKLIN MINES, FRANKLIN, SUSSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY Description : This very rare specimen of Turneaureite Fluoresces a nice Orange color under a Shortwave Ultraviolet Light and is rare arsenous apatite found only in 2 or 3 locations worldwide. Turneaurites are found only in Langden, Sweden, Franklin, New Jersey and in Gouverneur, New York. For more information on this specimen, check out page 60 in an outstanding book called "The World of FLUORESCENT MINERALS" by Stuart Schneider 2006 edition.
