I've been putting it off, but sadly my capri has togo. It is a 1976 Ford Capri 1600cc Mark 2 GL. Currently a none starter, although does try to start. There are 95000 miles on the clock. The interior is upgraded to Ghia specification, including period electric windows, and electric aerial, w ooden Mountney steering wheel with matching wooden gear knob, Kenlowe electric fan fitted and Weber carburettors. Rear parcel shelf, but does have a bit of a tear in it. 5 Ghia alloy wheels Has electric windows fitted in the late 70’s, early 80’s. They are after market, but are very much of the time. Also included is a spare passenger seat a Haynes manual, another fault finding chart and the original Ford handbook, plus the smaller, emergency hand book that was printed at the time to conserve paper. Engine is the 1.6 litre, runs on unleaded, and has a four branch manifold. Many parts are new, fitted within the last couple of years, such as battery, radiator hosing, gear stick, rear differential, axle, radiator cap, spark plugs and oil filter. Brand new sill fitted for last MOT. Some history with car, including a few receipts and mot certificates. The vehicle is a real head turner, carnival red in colour, (basically orange!). Currently the car attempts to start, but cannot quite manage it. I think it could be the points but am unsure.
