Frank Buck in WILD CARGO, British souvenir mag, 1934

PICTUREGOER'S Famous Films SUPPLEMENT" December 29, 1934; this British movie magazine' s weekly special supplement on a film. WILD CARGO with FRANK BUCK is a sepia 11.5 by 8 3/8" magazine with cover portrait of the wild animal specialist; the 16 page sides include: How I Capture My Wild Cargo, by Buck 4 pages; Film Stars of the Wild; Secrets of The Jungle; center spread of film photos; The Story Behind The Film 3 pages; A Talkie of a Thousand Thrills, 2 pages; The Romance of "Bring 'Em Back Alive" Buck page; back cover is large portrait of Anne Shirley in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, the next Supplement. The staples were removed due to poor quality and tending to break and rust, otherwise very good magazine. International buyers welcome; ask for US postage rate to your country. I have to bargain some treasures to make room for listing more great stuff. This was the wild animals film that let people see them in their "homes" and habitats, not in cages at zoos or circuses--the real thing in habitats people are now working so hard to restore and repopulate (re-animalate?).
