This is a rare opportunity for Frank Stick collectors, as well as collectors of bronze sculptures in the sporting and wildlife genre, to own one of the very few done by this artist. Long known for his sporting art, like Philip Goodwin, Roland Clark, and Frank Benson, Frank Stick produced only three known sculptures in his lifetime. One only exists in a photograph, and the other two, this being one, were cast in bronze from the original clay sculpture after his death. "Single Duck" was created by Stick around 1961. The bronze casting was done in 2004. It comes with a certificate of authenticity, which is pictured. The sculpture itself is 4" long, 2.5" high, and 2" wide. The base is 4.25 inches long, 2 3/8 inches wide, and 1" tall. The bronze has a beautiful green patina applied to it. Only 25 of these sculptures exist! I have started at a low price and will let the market determine the value of this bronze. Good luck, and ask questions if you have them before bidding as there are no returns. Posted with eBay Mobile
