Franklin Mint 1941 Lincoln Continental Mark 1, Die Cast

Did you know that the Mark 1, the orginal car...only 400 were made? This is a 1:24 scale model of the car known as the queen of the classics... and this replica was painstakingly re-created from one of the few still in existence.

Crafted from more then 156 separate components, it is true to the orginal in every detail, from the unmistakable split grille prow and flawless Burgundy Red paint to the legendary "Continental Kit," which put the exposed spare tire in a distinctive body-colored housing that was then mounted on the back of the car's trunk.

The ultra streamlined, brilliantly understated styling that helped earn the Continental its name, because it so resembled the finest European grand touring elegantly recaptured. The rakish long hood, short deck and squared off trunk emphasized both the length and the low silhouette of this matchless convertible. The lavish interior's instrument panel bezels, horn ring and radio speaker all richly embellished with 24 karat gold electroplate, evokes the striking golden accents of 1941. This car comes with all orginal box paper work, certificate of authenticity....It is in like new condition....please look in my store as I have other Franklin mint and Danbury Mint items up for auction.... thanks ;-)
