Frankoma 42A sugar Ada clay prairie green, hard to find

Frankoma 42A sugar Ada clay prairie green, hard to find
Up for auction is this beautiful little sugar bowl which has an art deco look. I have been holding onto this for some time, hoping to find the creamer to match, but my search has proved fruitless. The sugar is made of Ada clay, and has the Frankoma stamp with the oblong "O" on the bottom that was commonly used in the 40's. It does not have a mold number. This piece and the creamer that matches it were only in production from 1934-1942. It is in a prairie green glaze. It is about 2 1/4" tall, is 3 1/4" from across the top, and about 2" wide. The bottom of the bowl shows some wear on the inside and some mild crazing, but no cracks or repairs. T is a small chip on the bottom of the piece, but it is not visible unless it is turned over. In Schaum's book, the bowl is valued between $50-65, but we are starting it out with a low bid of 20.99!
This lovely piece would make a wonderful addition to your Frankoma collection!
