Dating from the World War I Era, this is a wonderful example of a French Child's Cuirassier Uniform. The set includes the Tunic with Epaulettes, Cuirass, Helmet, Sword Belt with Sword and one Medal as well as the Mannequin Bust but no Stand. The Tunic is constructed of faded blue colored wool that is accentuated with rich crimson cuff tabs with brass buttons and is very nicely adorned with beautiful silver Epaulettes. Both arms do have some mothing. The leather Sword Belt is simple in design and is mounted with a simple child's tin Sword which wears a nice portepee. The tin Curiass and Helmet have now nicely patined with age, otherwise remain in good condition as well and are both very nicely detailed. The Tunic measures from shoulder to shoulder 12 inches across and from the top of the collar to the hem line, 16 inches. Effective as of 1-1-07 bids welcomed only from established bidders with (10) or more feed backs. ABSOLUTELY NO BIDS ACCEPTED FROM (0) FEEDBACK BIDDERS WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT- NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
