French Empire style wardrobe, single bevelled mirror door, in need of attention

This 'armoire' wardrobe is in its original state. In solid veneered mahogany, it is Ideal to paint or repair. Attention is needed to 1) the veneer here and there 2) A piece of cornice on the left handside corner is missing, a smaller angle trim on the left handside at the bottom, side trims on both tops, veneer around the keyhole. Yet, the shaped trims on the front door which are the most decorative, are all there. Now that I have pinpointed all the defects, these are minor yet need to be attended even by the non DIY.

The mirror which is in good condition, needs to be pushed in to stabilize it. It is a beautiful mirror with a thick bevel all around.

There is one shelf inside, although more shelves can be added according to your requirements.

The front of the bottom drawer is part of the front feature of the armoire.

Measurements: Height: 234cm, Depth: 42cm Width: 95cm

The armoire comes in two parts, the main part being the 'body' holding the HEAVY mirror door, the removable cornice.

When the door of this wardrobe is open, it tends to tilt forward. This is because there are not enough shelves inside. As these models of wardrobes are studied to be sturdy with complete shelving inside, it is recommended to fit more shelves to achieve a well firm balance.
