- Source: eBay
Grouping to brothers Georg & Johann “Hans” Großegger serving in the Gebirgsjäger Regiment 139 and 4. / Hochgebirgs Jäger Bataillon 3.
Georg’s grouping consists of 6 items included 5 photos and a death notice. One photo shows him wearing all of his medals EKII, Infantry assault badge, wound badge and Narvik shield which are all noted on his death notice. Also, a 139 Regiment shoulder slip tab can be seen in photo. (Please Note) Most of these photos and death notice must have been mounted in an album or something similar at one time because of the backing face. I have not removed or added anything to this grouping and have kept in the condition I received it in.
Johann “Hans” grouping consists of 9 items included 4 photos, 2 post-WWII ID cards, a chronicle/propaganda album (gift from a Gauleiter Dietrich), a personal diary related to actions in Italy early 1944 and an EKI award document.
