george nelson eames mid century modern chairs lot

MId Century modern chairs. set of two identicalstyle. cream with silver base. one chair is in perfect condition. one chair the base is uneven and needs to be fixed. anyone who knows vintage furniture would be able to do this. the base attachment is missing a screw and the legs are a bit uneven because of this. so it would need to be fixed. please note, i am selling these chairs as is. so know that one of the chairs needs a bit of work on the base. body is in great shape. t is some wear because they are over 55 years old. i prefer a local sale and pick up, but will ship for 150$ in the usa.
George Nelson (1908-1986) was an important modernist whose work cut across the fields of interior, industrial and exhibition design. Nelson studied architecture at Yale University in the 1920s, and in the next two decades earned a strong reputation as a writer on design for Architectural Forum, Interiors and Fortune.
In 1945 Nelson began a long association with the Herman Miller Furniture Company of Zeeland, Michigan, w as head designer he developed an innovative line of furniture and commissioned new designs from others.
