Up for bid is an original scarce German Bavarian model 1869 Werder bayonet with one step handle in good condition. Its unsharpened 18 and ½ inch blade is marked with the A scales C trademark of Alex Coppel. Blade has oxidation spots and has brown patina spots. Cross guard is marked 49883 one one side and is unit marked 12R.3 on the other side. Cross guard has oxidation spots. Brass handle has no cracks and its pommel press stud functions well. Lower brass scabbard mount is unit marked B.10.R.7.12 on one side and 52.10.R.7 on the other side. Black leather scabbard body has stitching damage and has surface cracks with no holes. Brass scabbard mounts have several dents. A good original scarce Bavarian Model 1869 Werder bayonet!Shipping to the USA is $12 USPS Insured Priority Mail.
