You are bidding on a GESCHUTZT German lidded beer stein. The title GESCHUTZT appears on the bottom of the stein. Please see an email submitted by a fellow ebayer that explains the meaning of the word GESCHUTZT. My camera was not able to capture the wording as clearly as I would like. T are also several numbers located on the bottom of the stein along with the word GESCHUTZT. Directly above it is the number 1032. Along the edge is the number 98. T is a soft impression of the number 2333 and the number 14. These numbers appear in order on the bottom of the stein so I have no idea what they mean. Along the outside edge of the top of the stein is the number 3/10. Again, I have no idea what this means. The lid of the stein has a small scratch and near the handle. T do not appear to be any chips or scratches in the actual stein. Just the one scratch/dent in the lid.
This particular piece is just under 7 inches tall and is 2 and 1/2 inches wide at the base. The pictures on the stein are of two people drinking out of a horn on one side and a man playing music for an animal on the other. This is a nice little piece for anyone's collection. Overall, this piece is in good condition.
