On offer is a camera from my own collection. I wasn't going to sell this one, but it's a case of 'needs must' at this time of year. I would have preferred to keep it. It is a gold plated Olympus OM20 body only, boxed, and as far as I know completely unused. It still has the ticket in the back when you open it, saying 'For demonstration please remove this insert'. There is a letter of provenance with it from its original owner in the 1980s, who was a sales administrator for Olympus UK, and there were apparantly 28 only of these awarded for sales merit to Olympus administrators. On the net you can find reference to the same thing being done with the OM1n and the OM2n, but both of those were given with separate gold plated lenses. The OM20 was given as a gold-plated body-only gift. The serial number of the camera matches the serial number on the box. Cosmetically the camera looks unused, and the only thing I have very carefully done is test the viewfinder meter with a battery, and it does work. Please note that the base has some small surface marks on it, hardly visible in my picture. I think the camera would have been standing on display in a shop at some point in its life, and there are some very slight marks on the base. The rest is unmarked. You can't really call this 'very rare' as it exceeds that category. Only 28 gold plated
