GOLDEN AGE COMP54 MK2, MKII, DISCRETE MONO COMPRESSOR, 2254 CLONE!

Up for sale is a Golden Age Comp54 Mk2, Mono channel compressor and limiter that sounds great and works great!
These comps are excellent and are based on the coveted Neve 2254 compressor. They are all discrete using nothing but transistors and are completely transformer coupled.
This one is in good shape but has some dents on the lid and one small ding on the front right corner of the face and again works perfectly (see pics).
It is priced just right so catch this great deal while you can.

One very affordable channel of Neve-style compression.

The Golden Age COMP-54 is a one-channel vintage-style compressor. The signal path uses only discrete components like resistors, capacitors and transistors. The line input and output are transformer balanced and the unit also has a third interstage transformer.
The class-A circuit used in the COMP-54 is similar to the one in the classic 2254 compressor that was designed in 1969. It quickly became a legend due to it´s totally unique sound character that is warm, smooth, sweet and musical.
