A beautiful vintage c. 1940s-50s heavy silver plate teapot f rom the exclusive Greenbrier Resort in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia.
This is in excellent condition, only showing the usual signs of wear and use.
The pot features the Greenbrier's signature springhouse imprint--this is where the famous white sulfur spring waters are found. The springhouse has towering white columns and an aged copper roof, all represented on the teapot's belly.
The pot is 6.5 inches tall. The bottom photo shows the markings and maker.
Hotel silver items are heavy and thickly silver plated to withstand active use and cleaning. This piece is an excellent example of how these hotel treasures can remain gorgeous over the years.
I will try to address all questions and requests, and thank you very much for your interest.
