Calling All Antique Ruby Glass Collectors! These three old ruby glass pieces have been in my family for many, many years. Since they belonged to my great-grandmother, I'm assuming they date back to the early years of her marriage in the 1900s, if not before. She was an inveterate collector of pretty glass pieces and I believe the two painted pices -- a perfume bottle and a dainty creamer -- are of Victorian era. These three pieces come to you together at one price. I'll attempt to describe them as carefully and accurately as I can. 1) The Perfume Bottle . Possibly French or Bohemian in origin? Truly lovely. I can assure you that t hasn't been perfume stored in it for decades, but if you pull out the glass stopper, it still has the sweet fragrance of some faded, flowery scent. With the stopper in the bottle, the piece stands 5-and one-half inches tall. The mushroom-shaped stopper is, itself 3-inches long. The stopper and bottle both are painted with gold leaves and romantic swirls. The base of the bottle and stopper are both decorated with tiny gold dots. Note: t is a very small chip on one of the six glass spacers on the crennelated top of the bottle that holds the stopper.
